I'm sure I'm way behind here, but I just discovered netbooks. Or maybe I knew about them but thought people were saying notebooks, but at any rate, I just read an update on netbooks and am tickled. I remember when tech calculators were this size and we thought they were the cat's meow! This thing will fit in my pocket book and the keys are big enough for me to use!

Check out this post from ReadWriteWeb. I'm going to try this out when I get home. If it works, that means we could use this on the non-dedicated staff computers at the branch...provided we have the proper headphone/microphone combo.
Also, I haven't installed Skype on Windows XP. I'm using it in the Wubi distro of Ubuntu Linux. It runs better than I thought it would on my connection. I'll talk about some of my discoveries and headaches with Linux in the near future.
